Howdy neighbour

Looks like the tree has gangrene
Tree life, amputated and healing. My dear friend please come to your senses soon and see that you can survive a bad relationship experience no matter if you are dating, married or mothering a child. Easy to advise but in reality, how many people actually listen and act on it? Dear, Mr. I hope you get to the center of your bloody blood clot and fix yourself up cause people around you are starting to go into depression for your actions.

National Day rehearsel
Somehow, the Singapore National Day full dress rehearsal is 10x better than the ones in Malaysia. Our country is lacking in so many areas even simple things like having clean seats in LRTS.
Yeah, Singapore flyer. Got me thinking if they rebuilt the on in Melbourne.
I heard we had one of this called the Eye of Malaysia which was dismantled within a year of operations. Well done Malaysia, I never got to even see it ahahha.
TWG Macaroons which tasted weird...tea and pastry? Not for my liking
Was at the Marina Sands Bay hotel, hope I put it correctly. Got ourselves some macaroons and nah! don't like it and Laduree is still my favourite and Lindt is much better than this. Felt like I was eating mooncake.
Ohhh the real deal at Tony Romas with PORK
Why do we always over do in meals?

Bio-essence personal review

Bio-essence Deep Cleanser with ATP and Bio-cell repair rejuvenating serum

Bought this as a set for a tragic call to my very dry face as earlier posted due to over drying facial wash. This is the one endorsed by Vivian Hsu. I bought it not because of the much hyped about V shaped chin. I bought it cause I needed an alternative soap-free product for a face wash.

Verdict: Lasted me quite a while as you only need a little to work up a foam. Smells quite good and has all the good stuff that is written on their packaging ''with ATP'' and also says you will feel refreshed without the tightness. ATP according to their official site.

Whatever it is, this face wash has been calming for my flaking skin and yes it has definitely reduced the red marks on my cheeks from overpeeling. However my skin becomes oilier faster maybe because it is not water-based. So I used maybe 80% of cause when I came back from a long holiday of 2 weeks, whatever came out of the tube smelt a bit funny. Chucked it away.

Good product, gentle on skin, gives you that shine.

Bio-essence Bio-cell Repair rejuvenating Serum

Smooths out your face. Love this product. Not oily.  Perfect for dry and flaky skin. Really good before all the make up you're gonna put on your face and it smells good too!

Enough said, if you want to try this product, Go ahead, nothing to stop you. It is affordable.

Chalk 'n Talk iPhone Ipad App

The Chalk n' Talk app is so much fun.

Got a couple of friends to download this free app and instantly started laughing at each other's really bad and funny finger drawing.

A daily prompter! You can get rid of it by clicking on 'Do not open today'

This is the main screen. Gallery for looking at other people's drawings, Shop is for the app maker to make money and LIVE is basically profile settings and also where you add friends and see your achievements.

My LIVE
Newly drawn stuff for anyone to vote!

Hot Stuff. Ppl really can draw.

Well you only get half a screen to look at other's drawings, use an ipad for larger view hehe. The green bar on top is the timer and it turns yellow when you have not much time left.
Yeah! Well u will get random LOA people as well.
Some can't draw they just write and make you guess
It's my turn to draw a Shooting Star for all to guess!
Looks pretty ugly but I never said I could draw let alone finger drawing.
After 2 rounds, there is a Break Time for you go rest your eyes and take leak (Not really its about 10 seconds)
Verdict: Really fun and good when you are bored or waiting for your food to be served!

To my friends, Add me and lets start playing!

Rottweiler drinking from toilet bowl!

This photo was taken several years ago. It was my friend's Rott named Coco who has mothered several Rott puppies. She is one of the most nicest and tamest Rott's I have ever met.

Thailand taxi craze

Visited Bangkok for the first time and I was attracted to the brightly coloured cabs. Makes this place so welcoming!
Red cab
Pink cab, Yellow cab
Dark blue cab. green yellow cab
Light blue cab
Purple cab
Orange cab
Another red cab
Cabs here are cheap to travel with. Paid about 300Baht from Sukhumvit to the Survanabhumi airport in Bangkok.

Female Magazine ipad app

Was browsing iTunes today for some downloadable magazines or reads which are FREE and when I say FREE I mean FREE where I don't need to purchase content to read. I found Female Magazine Malaysia version and did I just save RM8? or I can't remember how much the mag is worth.

To have a look at it, you can go to the app store

Not sure if you can get it on the iPhone but definitely this is way better than buy the physical magazine for many reasons.

  1. I don't have to go to the newsagent to get it.
  2. I don't have to carry a 1 inch thick mag and walk with me to wherever I wish to.
  3. It won't end up as toilet material ( there seem to be many mags and comics in the toilet )
  4. I won't need to breed silverworms.
  5. Chop one less tree to save the environment and bankrupt those unscrupulous logging tycoons
  6. Lesser dust collected.
  7. The thought of having to wave at a newspaper collector to sell for recycle money plus you have to collect heaps before you even get to sell.
  8. I can read it discreetly.
Well there are many more reasons but the downside of it is that users would probably be unable to join competitions which require you to cut out and send the entry forms. I have been pretty unlucky with all this sort of contests so this doesn't bother me.

Ladurée Paris, you have to try it out!

When in Paris, besides the Eiffel Tower and Du Lourve Museum there are many other things that should be visited. When we were there we were lucky to be in the company of my husband's old friend who is now living in Paris. She heard that I likes macaroons especially everytime I walked passed a patisserie I would just stare at what is on display. Everything seems to look delicious even at McDonald's the cookies look really tempting.

Welcome to Laduree!
A little looker at what's in the menu

A little reflection of a friend. I already want to eat the display.
MUST GO!

Just too much to be in photos, you have to experience it personally
Paris being a fashion city lives up to its name. Even the waiter's vests are custom made .
Overdoing with the macaroons, sherbet ice cream, cinnamon coffee & some whacky tea!
Beats Linds and TWG without thinking twice. It is what it is, it is Laduree, where it all started!
Suck in your tongue and close your eyes. Absolutely kills the heat in summer.

This post has made me hungering for authentically delicious macaroons. I have to stop looking at the photos. My mouth is watering already.

If you are in Paris and have never been there, you have to go EAT,DINE,DRINK at Laduree. Although they have it in several other countries, but nothing beats when its at its place of origination.

Me and the use of Vichy!

In the past one year, my skin has been going thru this manic cycle where every few months I would be in a different country braving extreme weather changes from extremely hot summer daysss (16 hours of daylight) to maybe 8 hours of sunlight on a winter. Some days you get the crazy wind and some days it just rains without a warning.

I am not a beauty expert but right now I am in Malaysia for a good few more years (hopefully shorter) and the weather here as we all know is humid in a sticky icky way. To those like me, I understand your pain when you step out of a fully air conditioned environment and walk towards the carpark, mamak or just across the road to take away your lunch or to buy a bite. Sitting under the shade which still doesn't really block the glare and then the smell of delicious char kueh teow on your hair is really very very yucky.

Anyway, my skin is not really oily but it just gets really sticky and there is a layer of oil or rather a layer of shine which I can feel if my hands were to wipe across my forehead. My nose would be spurting oil ahhah okay not that bad but yuck again. Okay, so my skin is the type where if you attempt to put BB cream, you are asking for it. I don't know why but it doesn't really sit well with my skin cause it probably isn't smooth to begin with. Have open pores and its been there for the longest time. Facials area really painful to a point I have teared and jumped up from the bed.

One of the brands and ranges that I started using was Vichy. You can get it from leading pharmacies.

As in the photo, this is the Normaderm range. Not in full but enough to make your pockets light for a while. It is not cheap.

I started with the Vichy: Normaderm Deep Cleansing Gel (not in pic). I finished up like 2 tubes of these. It's quite a good facial wash and keeps the skin less oily for the 6-8 hours even if you forgot the toner and moisturiser. ( I am always in a rush). Makes the face feel clean and not too tight. Would recommend this to people with normal to oily skin.

Then the Vichy: Normaderm Imperfection Prone Skin lotion which acts like a toner. This toner once again, good for what it says, tightening pores but please ladies, unclog pores before tightening them if not you will have a bigger headache. The toner still leaves the skin smooth and supple and a fresh smell too.

Next, the Vichy: Normaderm Anti-Imperfections Hydrating care, this I would call a moisturiser that controls oil productions all over the T-zone. Put these 3 products together, you will definitely feel that your skin is less oilier during the whole day at work. It worked for me.

And, the Vichy, Normaderm Resurfacing Essence, this I guess I have not used long enough to see the effects. I used half the tube and still everything looks just as big and broiling with black stuff and grime. Maybe use this once you have done a nose mask or some extractions in order to heal and tighten the pores. (Wasted some money on this but oh well!)

Also, the Vichy, Normaderm Anti-Imperfections Concentrate. Supposedly just put it on your pimples, breakouts and whatever's growing. I would say, my pimples come and go pretty quickly but sometimes when I use this product, it sorta quicken the drying up process so that I can (peel them) hahaha! But I guess OXY 10 can do the same just that it has harsher ingredients in it.

Last but not least, the Vichy, BI-White Anti Dark Circle Whitening Corrective Eye Cream. This is kinda weird. I am not dissing the product but somehow in the morning, my eyes look just as tired as times I didn't put it on. I don't really know how useful this product is but if works for some people it might work on you. So don't give up.

And Recently, I have replaced my face wash to the NEW Vichy: Normaderm Anti Imperfection Deep Cleansing Foaming Cream with Salicylic Acid. This is way tooooooo strong for my skin and yes sometimes we love that pull which makes us think our skin is clean, but after a few weeks my skin was just drying out and red patches started appearing. Must be the Salicylic Acid. Recommended for people with really oily and blemished skin.

Maybe my entry this time will confuse you with what the Vichy marketing department has done. Somehow all the names of the products have changed slightly or totally. Sometimes when I walk to the Vichy counter I don't even know what I am reading. Too much technicality for attraction purposes.

Anyway, I have totally stopped using Vichy cause my skin became too dry and I had to find a real cream cleanser which was not too harsh.

This brand is so heavily marketed in Malaysia, but in Europe, this brand is stashed at some corner. Bummer!
