Strasbourg, France. Day 1&1 1/2
This is apparently one of the biggest train stations in the whole of France. It is huge but not that big but anyway, we stayed somewhere near the Gare Centrale maybe just a 5 minute speed walking would bring you to the motels/hotels and 'not very French' type of cuisine. You'll get a lot of Indian, Moroccan, Kebabs and little grocery stores. If you only eat Halal, there are heaps of restaurants to feed you. I stayed at Rue Khun so around that vicinity, heaps of Halal food.
We arrived there on a Friday morning and mind you...everything seems so quiet. Kinda weird on to be in a City which is quiet on a Friday....until we realised the City was the other way round. What a joke but anyway, it was just 15 minutes to the little town where you get the Galleries La Fayette and Printemps. Equipped with my fully loaded ipad2 with 'Strasbourg' apps to bring me around I still got lost and never got to find the museum of Tomi Ungerer!!! Bummer.
The Kleber Monument...can't really remember what it's about but its probably the most recognisable meeting point if you're on a shopping adventure around the streets.
This was taken on a Saturday evening...guess everyone went home for dinner.
Me and my first Ice-cream in France staring at the Notre Dame Cathedral not to be confused with the one in Paris.
Hen's outing. Seems like so much fun
Street cafes just right opposite the cathedral. What a peaceful place to be sipping on good coffee.
A photo I took of a mobile kiddies stand. Somehow the picture depicts to me, a crazy Snow White who is overweight and she has with her 7 dwarves who are old men that are on a sex deprivation and about to screw her after their meal.
Hahaha vandalisme at the traffic lights next to the Cathedral.
