Was at Frankfurt, Germany last month when I witness the rally. Happening in the City (not too sure which part is the City). But, kinda moved by this movement. Made me love my dog more. Many brought their doggies out and place placards on them and so on. The participants very pretty serious and the air was intense. Other than seeing a smile when an owner got a packet of free dog food, everyone was just discussing in German, French, Swiss, ...... and luckily some spoke English and explained to us what was going on. Be humane if you want to end a life, you are only human. PETITION HERE!!!!!
Dear all, this is just sad but what can we do? Petition, let it be heard and let it be seen. Although you might not like dogs, many might not like your selection of pets as well such as 'rats', iguana's, chickens (okay that could be dinner but still), snakes, hippos, tigers bla bla bla. Anyway that's not really the point. Although the petition might not count for anything, at least we try our best to be aware of what is happening around the world. Imagine if one day you decided to move to Ukraine and you didn't know about this, you keep a pet dog, it ran out to take a leak, and kabammm, it's being blown into bits and pieces...Picture that as a possibility.
Although we may not have many of these sort of rallies in Malaysia, we can do it by clicking the petition. Or better, if you want to watch Euro 2012 and not be guilty, click it. Every click might save a life...although a dog's life, its still a life. Dog's have mom's too and they know how to tear.
According to this link they would do something about this. But it doesn't matter. I just wanted to share something. I feel for this. There would be many angry dogs in heaven biting Ukrainians's asses.
