Prince Hotel food tasting

Food tasting for the banquet to be held at Prince Hotel & Residence KL. (Apparently do not mind the presentation as it is only a food tasting)

When you go for food tasting in a hotel especially in a Halal restaurant for Chinese food, be prepared that ''fantastic'' is not what you are looking for but rather taste, freshness, consistency , presentation, and to make sure that it is hot when served. Well that's my opinion, you can't be great u better be acceptable.

Iceberg Lettuce, Dried scallops and Sea Cucumber.
My uncle says: Not too bad but it looks like a clump of brown stuff in the big serving bowl.

 Four seasons : 2 hot 2 cold
My uncle says: Cheese balls are stinge on the cheese and too much flour.

Sharks fin with chicken and crab meat
My uncle says: Stinge on the crab meat.
Chicken with salt (wtf name is that I still dun get restaurants all around)
Placed in a heart shape and the chicken is tender and juicy but the dipping salt is fragrant salt. A bit sweet.
Prawns in butter
My uncle says: The prawns are pond bred therefore there is not much taste, but the sauce is alright.

Conclusion: Not much variations to be made or complaints to be filed. Every other dish was good to go!

I know but how about you?

You don't lie to yourself anymore,
You have to move on from the past,
You leave no baggage of burden unattended,
You erase all trace of longing another,
You live like there will only be one,
You know that there will be other,
You have the better and you make it the best,
You forgive the past for a better future,
You prove yourself to be worthy of togetherness,
You sing the song of love and not regret,
You cry the tears of joy and not pain,
You see front and know back is not an option,
You just know it far too well,
You only know, no one else would know.

Quarter life crisis? It's way past!

Somehow, Orange is my favourite colour after quarter life.
Somehow, I want everything to look bright and fresh.
Somehow, I was told it was the ugliest colour by my art teacher.
Somehow, Orange draws the eyes.
Somehow, Orange stands out from the other colours.
Somehow, enough of the Orange.

Everybody needs some Orange in their lives. I wish I had more than what I have but too much might be overloading and cause unwanted outcomes. Orange is NOT subtle. Orange is fierce, strong and ever ready to be in action. Orange is forever happy and always smiling. Orange is sweeter than Yellow which could've turned out to be sour.

Today is not a good day. I want some Orange.

Pit bull among seven breeds banned in Subang Jaya

Pit bull among seven breeds banned in Subang Jaya

After I read this, my heart broke. This is ridiculous. I am just on the next suburb. This is bloody ridiculous. Yes, a dog killed somebody, but wtf did he do to deserve the dog to release his anger and basic instinct of self protection.

How are we to protect our home or rather intimidate robbers from entering our homes and robbing us. My German Shepperd died and less than a month, one of our cars got broken into. WTF is wrong with this country. If I had money, I would buy a Lion, Tiger even a Dinosaur.

Shitszu is not gonna survive a kick from a stupid F**k thief. How can u just ban dogs on these grounds? Who the hell are you in the first place to enter my property without permission. Screw you if my dog really has to eat you cause you're gonna try to steal my sandals.

Are the authorities going to really go around killing people's dogs? Why don't u kill all the crocodiles, sharks, snakes, inhumane people and also rapists? They don't deserve to live as much as you want to kill my dog. Spay them and stop the multiplication for control and you can force the owners to have a special license where they have properly ''pussified''m their dogs. Urgh!

If this reaches KL, I am migrating. Defo!

8 months of living with my puppy Scooby

If you are thinking of getting a Pit Bull please make sure you are ready for the following:

1. Skin problems that can cost a bomb to cure.
2. Means expensive organic/sensitive doggy shampoo.
3. Despite its short fur, fleas and thicks are still everywhere. My dog is generally black and its hard to spot unless
you go digging into his fur through every inch of skin he has.
4. This dog eats alot...like 3 full meals and asks for more with his whiny antics.
5. When still a puppy they love to cuddle to sleep....awww so cute!
6. Sits down on hind legs alot like a fat old man.
7. Has a pitiful face but a jaw biting power of 1.5 tonnes (as said by the vet)
8. Highly hyper active.
9. Sensitive stomach & sensitive skin equals special salmon & lamb food type which is premiumly priced.
10. As all puppies do...they chew everything.
11. Mine literally chewed and ate the following:

  • copper wires
  • thongs made of plastic and rubber
  • rubber water hose
  • car reverse sensors
  • PVC pipes
  • umbrella cloth
  • plants
  • cotton buds
  • rattan chair
  • wooden handle
  • wooden basket
  • cloth
  • strings
  • car mudguards
  • plastic bottles
  • cardboxes
  • bags
  • sofas
  • his own plastic food bowl
  • several leashes made out of high quality rock climbing ropes and parachute.
  • any sort of edible food
  • and heaps of other normal stuff dogs attack.
The above has cost us more than 1000s of dollars. He has been to the vet at least 3-4 times for skin problems and twice for diarrhoea that we have no idea how it happened. This is not including all those normal visits to the vet for shots and check ups.

You need to shower it twice to thrice a week cause he loves dirt. Short fur but still big paws...Thicks love to breed in between the paws. Painful i think.

Loves to jump and yes it is able to jump very high. Gallops and not run. Attention seeking. Whines more than he barks. Eats wayyyyyyyy toooooo much.

Scratched the whole left side of my car door panels just cause he was getting to a bird on the roof of the car.
Scratched 2 car bonnets cause of stray cats.
Shits a hell load and his farts are silent killers.

He started humping at the age of 3 months and tried to rape my shihtzu and pomeranian. To failure in trial and error he has gone on to try to hump my face, my arm, my leg and my back. He loves to bite my hair. Hates my face when my hair is down and flying when the wind blows. Loves to jump under my skirt.

Look at his pathetic sad face. Don't be fooled.

To kill it off, he came on my dad's arm and now what do we do? Hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!

But, I still love you Scooby =P

Puppies in a Basket!

My first time to the Kuchai Lama Pasar Malam. My parents frequent that place prolly once a month. Heaps of food and way cheaper compared to Bangsar Baru Pasar Malam. But anyway, my mom says that for all these times she has been there, she never came across the couple selling puppies.

I have been told and warned not to buy 'backyard breeder's puppies cause they ill treat and put them up in horrible living conditions. But one thing for sure, the mini shitszu stinks like it swam in pee. urgh yuck worse than when I went to pick up my Scooby.

What's funnier is that, someone asked how much the puppies were and the guy said '' RM500 for the tri-coloured shitszu but the brown ones are on offer cheap RM350!'' Discrimination and colourist! The toy poodles are RM700 - RM800 depends on how far u wanna bargain.

My mom wanted to buy one but she is afraid it might become dinner for Scooby. Yikes!

Out of city

Last Sunday, we went to Seremban for brunch. I was told that it would be in a market, until I realised it was a superbly huge ass market of all markets I have ever been to in Malaysia. 2 storeys high and its called the Pasar Besar Seremban. It reminded me of Jolly Green Giant in Bangsar Baru where Hakka Restaurant used to be. Now, its the Pasar Malam.

Flash back to the past, there were many hawkers in individual stalls and plenty of food to choose. Many people frequent that hawker centre. But today, I can count the times I have been there in the past 10 years. Anyway, this market in Seremban gave me the same feeling just that it was 2011 and not in KL.

Looks like places I used to go to 20 years ago.

Honey told me we were going to have beef noodles of the
Seremban type i.e: Different from those we normally have that looks like Vietnamese Beef Noodles. This was dry with gravy. It has peanuts in it and the chili is madness. Something different. I guess that since this restaurant number 748 (I can't read Chinese) must've been really popular cause we found it via Foursquare hahhaha! They charge you RM5 per bowl...That's pretty expensive for Seremban standards and hawker style.

Beef Noodle Gravy style!

The meatballs are not too bad. Soup is good too. I don't usually eat balls.

The people who help the owners have funky footwear!!! Grapes on shoes!. One more puts on heaps of make up. But they are all very friendly. One instance the owner shouted at the employee to hurry up, she came to our table and said ''cepat cepat tapi kamu makan perlahan dan enjoy''. Lol!

But this fresh coconut was only RM2.70!!!
