Top of Zurich

Out of the many things to do, visit, eat, try, see, we didn't do almost any as suggested by any website. We ended up taking the train all the way up to what is known as the "Top of Zurich''. 20 minute train ride from Bahnhofstrasse. Then another 15 minute hike up the hill to a magnificent view of the City of Zurich.

The tram chucks you here. There are hotels and cafes up top.

Nice, breezy and shady walk up.

I never had the filters to help me cut off the fog. That's why its kinda blurry.

That should be the ultimate top...too unfucked to climb the stairs...

Found this little kitty. Even the stray cats looks so clean and nicely groomed.

Gay. Lol!

What a great place to take wedding photos. Make a change people! Paris is now boring lol!

Zurich, Switzerland that one day

What to expect in Zurich?

Clocks on almost every tower

Many dogs leashed and unleashed

Kinds of dogs you don't see in KL or Australia

Dogs as part of the window display!

Giant reptiles cracking out of roads!!!

Watches with brands that easily con this shit out of you...

Small cosy lanes

Awesome looking kitchen wares and electrical stuff in noice colours. I want this toaster and I am getting it when I get a house!!!

There are also Made in China look-a-like Burberry shirts on the streets.

Uneven gradient, very European although Switzerland is not Euro.

I so wanted to go in this Museum but Sam was afraid I wouldn't leave...Grrr! I'll be back

 Huh! Starbucks

Lonely old style cafe setting.

Fruits even look fresher here.

I have never seen garbage/old papers stacked up so neatly next to a bin.

Any fatter, he ain't gonna be able to walk thru it.

Very innovative outside seating and table

Flying cow cafe

Really old school

View from the University of Zurich, Just a short train ride up. I wished I studied in a Uni that looked like this.

Need sleep and face moisturizer

If you can tell me, are they protecting the rock or are they protecting the barrier?

Even the fire hydrants look so cute

Something about this part of the world, everything including sugar packets have planned marketing printings on them.

Ancient way of telling time. What if you move house and take it with you? Will you ever get the co-ordinates correct?

One night in Zurich, Switzerland

Was in Zurich for a good one day, train transit from Strasbourg, France to Frankfurt, Germany. Although it was a mere 20 hours, I can say I fell in love with this City and am sure I will be back for longer. I had no expectations of this place and allowed the largest city of Switzerland to offer me the sweet memories it lives by.

But honestly, I wished I could be here for a month and go to the alps for some snowboarding. Wrong weather I suppose, it was Autumn!!! But snow sports all year round I am guessing.

Little things that makes a difference from KL to the world's most self sufficient city and not to forget city of clocks!!!
We booked in at the ibis Hotel in Technopark. 5 minutes to the trams. I must agree the tram system is 10x better than Melbourne.

A new neighbourhood which used to be an industrial park. Many buildings are being converted into residential units.
PULS 5 must've been a factory warehouse before it turned into this beautiful apartment cum exhibition center below. We were fooling around in the park which was just opposite the hotel and had a short conversation to a Dutch who lived here for a good 30 years or so and was living at the apartments. He was walking his pet, a French Bulldog, an anesthetist, 50 years old and it was his birthday. Must be a shock how much info you can get from a good 10 minute conversation.

He was really friendly and inviting, we almost made it into his apartment if not for his sleeping roomie. Then he still managed to bring us to the exhibition area for a look about.

A wine exhibition going on! The entire warehouse smelt like wine.

Doing a bit of walking and at the corner, it was pretty creepy, there were many bicycles and all had broken wheels, flat tires, chained, broken, left overs what's the odd seriously?!!>!>!! Spooky!

Turbinenplatz

Zurich at night, it's a beautifully lit place, although nothing much, it leaves alot to think about.

This is the morning view of Technopark
