Was in Singapore Marina Bay Sands toilet doing my thang when I heard this conversation.
I would think it was between 2 teenagers/uni students on their break day. This was at 3:30pm!
Girl 1: Hey, I don't feel hungry. I don't think I want to have lunch laaaa.
Girl 2: Hmmm, really? Nevermind la! We eat only when you are hungry.
Girl 1: Okay la.
Girl 2: Let me know when you are hungry then we go eat.
Girl 1: *silence*
Girl 2: Hey, I think I know why you are not hungry.
Girl 1: Why ah?
Girl 2: Because you had breakfast this morning that's why you are not hungry lor!
*face palm*
I don't know if you would think this conversation was funny or not. Cause I don't think it was funny but more like WTF!?!?!?!? I wonder what she had for breakfast? Does it mean if you had breakfast then you arent suppose to feel hungry during lunch? Why would they put lunch as a meal time then? Huh! *scratches head*

On board the HMAS Onslow @ Australian National Maritime Museum
A visit to Sydney has brought us on foot to the discovery of the HMAS Onslow. Okay! Not that I discovered it but its there. Paid AUD25 per person for a Big Ticket which allows access to all viewable ships and submarines.
Ass in first before head if you want to save yourself from a concussion.
My last 5 min in the sub felt like a minor tremor that never stopped. Felt like puking after that, gotta get out. This was cause I stood to listen to the friendly volunteers explain and share their information and stories.
Must see if you've never been in a submarine. Cause in Malaysia, apparently our submarines can't sink and its not like we could pay to have a look.
First, you gotta make your own way in. Just joking. |
Not for people with motion sickness unless you just keep walking and don't stop and stare. |
Not build for built people. Not even fit for an Asian. I wonder how did the submariners lived in this. |
This are the missile chambers, anybody wants a free flight? That's if you can fit. |
Beds people!!! Beds!!! Stop complaining your room is too small for you. They served and they somehow deserved this for months. Work harder if you are complaining and doing nothing. |
I am still wondering how would a 6 footer go about working in a submarine? Or is there a height limitation for member. |
This is the escape route. My ass would get stuck and I would have died and killed anyone who was next to leave. Sigh time to get rid of that ass. |
Honey, its not touch screen!!! |
errrrrrr!!!! That's my blood pressure boiling. |
I don't know what this is |
Some engineers nightmare |
I thought flying a plane was worse. |
Skinny toilet |
FML if I had to wee or shit in that. Claustrophobia! Sam couldn't even fit in it. |
Any ideas? |

Changgo @ Lt. La Trobe St, Melbourne, Australia
Round 2 (or maybe 1240023) of mad dinners. I am no rubberband girl. Why is my husband bringing to these awesome places. A place where you can be over porked and still come back for more. I kid you not. A korean BBQ resto at its finest.
My blog is no longer Halal.
Please call up and make a booking if you don't want to sit in a Korean BBQ for 2 hours waiting for a table. You should already know what you would smell like or rather what you would do to your car seat after dinner.
First the teaser...condiments, sauces, kimchi and others.
Please make sure you eat the mushroom last cause it takes forever for it to be soft. I had to chuck it back several times cause I couldn't even bite into it. Finish the enoki's first.
Get ready for the Palsaik ( I am guess it is pat sik or 8 colour in canto same as in Korean )
I don't really need to type much anymore. You can literally taste with your eyes just like those wagyu posts earlier.
2 of us ate all of this but had to take away a whole slice cause it was just too much to handle. This meal of AUD 58.80 would easily fill the stomachs of 4 people and leave NO room for dessert unless you really eat heaps. We had steam rice you see.
Point to not: They do not answer their reservation lines 99% of the time. If you want to book, walk in and do it. Plus, no bookings for diners after 6.30pm.
Tips: The Palsaik set is good enough for 4 average people. We had 1.5x the set for 7 people and some other dishes and we were very full from it. Come in warmer weather cause there will be lesser people wanting to eat BBQs.
Heard they are expanding soon!!!

Shou Sumiyaki @ Lt. Bourke St. Melbourne, Australia
Back in Melbourne for the second time in 3 months. Sam brought me to this Shou Sumiyaki. We always walk pass it but never stopped to see what was really inside. Maybe cause during the day, its just dark from the outside. Anyway, went there for dinner and I am SOLD!
I usually can't pick the standard of food served in restaurants. If it's edible i'll just eat it, and if I don't really like it i'll just not return. However, this is too good not to share.
Shou Sumiyaki - the website tells you more and I reckon 50% of the food menu is in there as well.
Be prepared to spend about AUD 150 for 2 pax for food and alcohol.
Please make a booking to avoid disappointment...for real!
Charcoal BBQ/Grill - 75% of the time the friendly and smiley staff would help with the cooking and flipping of foil wrapped food. Good! I don't need to burn myself.
They have a really cool bar for a wait out or a night of drinking. An extensive list of drinks from Beer, Sake, Umeshu to shots. Whatever you need. I love Melbourne for this. |
My Asian version of Beouf Tartare...Wagyu Beef Yukke!!! Was really good. Texture was amazing and only AUD 9.50.
Some assorted sashimi and oysters. Not too bad. The oysters were something different.
A very non Halal - Pork Belly i'm supposing. Can't remember. Looks really fattening but wait till you grill it and put it in your mouth.
The F-1 Black Wagyu - to die for again and again. I can eat this everyday. Needs no professional chef to enjoy the outcome. Heaven.
Ox tongue! Somehow its not as crunchy as others that I have tried. But nonetheless really good as well.
We visited this place again in 2013, and there were many cuts of Beef which were out of stock...Sad but its okay we still enjoyed our dinner and it never tasted better.
This is enough marbling for a random dinner. I am in love.
